Travel is my greatest passion, and this blog serves as a way to capture my experiences—through stories, descriptions, and photos of the destinations I’ve explored—so they can be preserved and shared.

Even if no one else reads this blog, documenting my experiences for myself is reason enough to write. But if you manage to find value in what I’ve shared, that’s an added bonus.

Where I’ve Been

The long-term goal is to explore every country—and as many significant territories as possible—in the world. But I’ll never go somewhere just to tick a box.

Exploring a country, to me, means doing all of the following things, at a bare minimum:

• Seeing the natural beauty
• Visiting a historical site
• Trying the most iconic dishes
• Conversing with a local
• Using the language—at least “hello” and “thank you”
• Learning unique facts about the country and culture

Whenever possible, I also try to visit multiple regions of a country, and stay long enough to feel that I’ve had enough noteworthy experiences to adequately understand the place and its culture.
